Per gli amanti del turismo lento, responsabile e più sostenibile, il progetto Slow Flow – Veneto Waterways Experience permette di scoprire i territori del Veneto da una prospettiva particolare – navigando lungo fiumi, canali e bacini che percorrono la regione, immergendosi a ritmo “slow” nei suoi ambienti più belli.
Come afferma l’assessore al turismo della Regione Veneto, Federico Caner, “La promozione del territorio veneto attraverso proposte di turismo slow&green rientra nei piani regionali che incentivano la differenziazione dei prodotti turistici puntando sulla sostenibilità. In questo contesto, Slow Flow – Veneto Waterways Experience rappresenta un’innovativa proposta turistica integrata e coordinata di valenza regionale, in grado di valorizzare sia gli itinerari navigabili in sé che le loro connessioni con il patrimonio naturale e il paesaggio culturale, oltre che con altre modalità di fruizione, come cicloturismo e pescaturismo”.
CTI ha collaborato con la rete di operatori turistici di Slow Flow nello scouting e recruiting di buyer e giornalisti turistici, italiani e internazionali, a cui presentare questa offerta all’avanguardia alla scoperta di luoghi insoliti e autentici del Veneto. Questo ha portato finora alla realizzazione di 2 fam trip e 2 press tour, che hanno coinvolto circa 40 partecipanti provenienti da Austria, Belgio, Bulgaria, Francia, Italia, Regno Unito, e Stati Uniti.
I partecipanti ai tour organizzati sono stati selezionati in linea con la visione e i valori di sostenibilità e slow tourism espressi dal progetto Slow Flow. Essi hanno potuto scoprire la Laguna di Venezia e le sue isole, così come il Parco del Sile, la Riviera del Brenta e Battaglia Terme – una vera immersione nel territorio, sempre attraverso le vie d’acqua.
Non è mancato l’elemento culturale e attivo – i buyer hanno visitato il Museo Archeologico di Altino, il Museo della Calzatura sulla Riviera del Brenta, il Museo della Navigazione Fluviale, ma anche la Vicenza palladiana e ville, castelli e borghi della Pianura veneta, scoprendo al contempo le particolarità enogastronomiche dei territori. I partecipanti hanno inoltre esplorato varie opportunità di cicloturismo, tra cui la ciclabile Treviso-Ostiglia.
Sono in programma altri 5 eventi, tra educational tour e viaggi stampa, per esplorare nuove e diverse aree della nostra regione, e CTI sta già lavorando allo scouting di nuovi buyer per conto degli operatori Slow Flow organizzatori.
For the fans of slow, responsible and sustainable tourism, the Slow Flow – Veneto Waterways Experience project allows the discovery of the Veneto from a special perspective; by navigating the rivers, canals and lagoons that run through the whole region, and immersing oneself in its most beautiful environments at a “slow” pace.
As stated by the Councilor for Tourism of Regione Veneto, Federico Caner, “The promotion of the Veneto territory through slow&green tourism offers is part of the regional plans that boost tourism product differentiation, while aiming at sustainability. In such a context, Slow Flow – Veneto Waterways Experience represents an innovative, integrated and coordinated tourism offer of regional importance, which is able to highlight both navigable itineraries and their relationship with the natural heritage and cultural landscape, as well as other modes of use, such as bike tourism and fishing tourism”.
CTI has been working with the tourism operators of the Slow Flow network on the scouting and recruiting of Italian and international buyers and tourism journalists, to whom we presented this cutting-edge offer intended for the discovery of some unusual and authentic places in Veneto.
So far, this has lead to the organization of 2 educational tours and 2 press tours, which involved about 40 participants coming from Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, France, Italy, United Kingdom, and United States.
The participants were selected according to their compliance with the slow tourism values promoted by the overall project. They had the chance to explore the Venice Lagoon and its islands, as well as the River Sile Natural Park, the Brenta Riviera and Battaglia Terme – a true immersion in the local territory along its waterways.
The cultural and active elements were proposed as well – the buyers visited the National Archaeological Museum of Altino, the Footwear Museum on the Brenta Riviera, the Museum of Fluvial Navigation, but also Palladio’s Vicenza, villas, castles and hamlets in the Veneto plain, while savoring the local food and wine specialties. Finally, the participants learned more about the bike tourism offer, riding along the Treviso-Ostiglia path.
5 more events are scheduled, designed to have buyers discover new and various areas of our region, and CTI has already begun working on the scouting of new participants on behalf of the Slow Flow network.
